What we do

Web, mobile, and AI builds. Scoped and priced before kickoff.

You’ve got one build to get right and no budget for a second attempt. EdgeBrain Studios is an AI-native software studio in Lahore, working with founders and lean product teams worldwide. We offer four services rather than twenty, senior engineers write the code, and you approve a fixed scope before we open an editor. Most projects ship in 4 to 8 weeks.

We build the web application your business runs on. Next.js with server components, so a 10,000-row dashboard still paints in under a second on a mid-range laptop. TypeScript in strict mode, because a column rename should break your build, not production.

  • SaaS platforms with auth, roles, and Stripe billing reconciled by webhook
  • Marketing sites on a headless CMS your team edits without a pull request
  • WordPress rebuilds that pull Largest Contentful Paint from four seconds down to under 1.5

Marketing site: 2 to 4 weeks, up to 8 pages, $7.5k to $15k. SaaS MVP: 6 to 8 weeks, $28k to $45k.

An estimate in US dollars, not a quotation; the quote you get after scoping is fixed in writing before kickoff.

Next.js and React web development

One codebase, two stores, native where it counts. The parts that sink mobile projects late are the ones we deal with first: offline-first data, push permissions, biometric auth, and review at Apple and Google. From week two you’re installing TestFlight and internal-track builds on your own phone, so there’s no demo video at the end.

  • Offline-first sync that survives a tunnel, a flight, and a dead battery
  • Both store submissions handled, including the rejections nobody warns you about
  • Crash reporting and release channels wired before the first public build

Mobile client on an existing API: 4 to 6 weeks, $20k to $32k. MVP from scratch: 6 to 9 weeks, $24k to $40k.

An estimate in US dollars, not a quotation; the quote you get after scoping is fixed in writing before kickoff.

React Native and Flutter app development

We remove manual work rather than bolting on a chatbot. The invoices someone retypes, the tickets someone sorts, the report someone rebuilds every Monday. We score accuracy per field against a labelled set of your own documents, and anything under threshold routes to a human who’s already got the fields filled in.

  • Document pipelines and data extraction into your ERP, CRM, or helpdesk
  • Workflow agents with retries, audit trails, and a review UI a non-engineer can use
  • A written payback estimate per workflow before we build any of them

Automation audit: 1 week, $4,000 to $6,000, credited against the build. One production workflow: 3 to 5 weeks, $12k to $25k.

An estimate in US dollars, not a quotation; the quote you get after scoping is fixed in writing before kickoff.

AI automation and document processing

You’ve got a model budget and a list of ideas. We rank them by payback, kill the ones that don’t survive contact with your data, and build the one that does. Every LLM feature ships with evals in CI, request tracing, a cost cap, and a runbook for whoever inherits it.

  • Ranked use case list with effort, cost, and the data gaps we found
  • Proof of concept on real data, scored against a graded test set
  • Production LLM features shipped into the product you already have

Readiness assessment: 2 weeks, $6,000 to $9,000, credited against a production build. Proof of concept: 3 to 4 weeks, $16k to $30k.

An estimate in US dollars, not a quotation; the quote you get after scoping is fixed in writing before kickoff.

How we work

Scoped in week one. Shipping by week eight.

Four steps, and you can see where the build stands on any day of any one of them. Pick a step below and you’ll get the time it asks of you, plus the things you hold in your hands at the end of it.

Discover

Week 1

We dig into your goals, users, and constraints. Research the landscape, define scope, and align on what success looks like.

What you do

One 60-minute call, plus access to whatever already exists: the spreadsheet, the old codebase, the analytics. You don’t need to write a 40-page brief.

What you get

  • A written scope listing every screen, endpoint, and integration
  • A fixed price and a ship date, both agreed before anyone writes code
  • A stack recommendation with the reasoning behind it, not a list of logos

Change requests belong in the process, so we do not treat them as a penalty. Anything that adds more than a day gets a written estimate before we touch it, and you either approve it or defer it. The repo carries a change log of what was added, what it cost, and what was cut to make room.

Why EdgeBrain

Good software isn’t about more features. It’s about the right ones, built sharp.

You probably landed here after pricing a freelance marketplace against a Western agency. The marketplace is cheap and carries real delivery risk. The agency is safe and billed at $150 an hour, half of that going to people who never open the repo. We’re the third option: an offshore development team for startups that’s small enough to answer you directly and senior enough to be trusted with the build. Four reasons that works.

One team, one contract

End-to-end ownership

One team designs it, builds it and deploys it, so nothing is lost in a handoff between a design vendor and a development vendor.

There’s no gap between the Figma file and the deploy, and no three-day wait while a design vendor and a dev vendor argue about whose bug it is. The engineer who built your checkout flow is the one who fixes it when a payment fails at 2am.

Accuracy measured per field, on your documents

The model comes last

We look for the repetitive work first and only then ask whether a model is the right tool for it. Plenty of it is answered by a schema and a queue.

Plenty of studios add a chatbot and call it AI. We go looking for the manual work first: the invoices someone retypes, the tickets someone sorts, the report someone rebuilds every Monday. We score accuracy per field against a labelled set of your own documents, and exceptions route to a human who’s already got the fields pre-filled.

Built for speed

Most builds reach production in four to eight weeks, with working software in your hands every week rather than only at the end.

A marketing site goes live in 2 to 4 weeks. A SaaS MVP with auth, billing, and a dashboard takes 6 to 8. You get a new build every week, so you’re correcting course in week three rather than finding the problem at launch.

You talk to the engineer, not an account manager

No agency bloat

Small team, senior engineers, direct communication. No layers of project managers between you and the people writing your code.

The person writing your code is the person who answers you. We hold 6pm to 10pm Lahore time open every working day, which is 9am to 1pm in New York and a normal working morning in London. You get a shared Slack channel rather than a ticket queue and a 12-hour reply delay.

What we put in writing. You own the code and the IP from the first commit. We work inside your GitHub organisation where we can, sign your NDA rather than ours, and quote fixed scope before kickoff. Payment runs 50% on contract and 50% on delivery, split into milestones above $30,000, so neither side is more than one milestone exposed if the other walks away.

FAQ

The questions that decide it

Cost, timelines, IP, timezones, and what happens when something goes wrong. They’re answered here, so you don’t have to email us just to build a shortlist.

We’re an AI-native software studio in Lahore, Pakistan, working with clients worldwide. We build four things: web applications in Next.js and React, cross-platform mobile apps in React Native, AI automation that removes manual work, and AI integration consulting. Every engagement is fixed scope, quoted before kickoff, and built by senior engineers rather than juniors billed as seniors.

Most builds ship in 4 to 8 weeks from kickoff. A marketing site on a headless CMS takes 2 to 4 weeks. A SaaS MVP with authentication, billing, and a dashboard takes 6 to 8 weeks. A cross-platform mobile MVP takes 6 to 9. You’ll have a staging URL in week one and a new build every week after that, so nothing waits until launch to be seen.

A web MVP with authentication, billing, and a dashboard runs $28,000 to $45,000. A cross-platform mobile MVP runs $24,000 to $40,000. A marketing site starts at $7,500 for up to eight pages, and a single production AI workflow runs $12,000 to $25,000. Our minimum for a build is $7,500, and a one-week scoping sprint is $3,500, credited in full against a build that starts within 30 days. Those bands are estimates in US dollars, not quotations, because no two projects carry the same scope. Your own quote is not an estimate: it is fixed in writing after scoping, before kickoff, and it does not move. Payment is 50% on contract and 50% on delivery, with milestones above $30,000.

You do, from the first commit. We work inside your GitHub organisation where possible, or in ours with ownership transferred at handover. The contract assigns all IP to you. There is no license fee, no retained component library you keep paying for, and no hosting lock-in. Hand the repo to another team the day after launch and nothing breaks.

Yes, and before the first call if you prefer. We sign your NDA rather than insisting on our template, and we can usually return it the same day. Standard terms cover your code, your data, and the fact that you hired us at all. If you need us excluded from working with a named competitor for a set period, say so and we’ll put it in writing.

Lahore is UTC+5. We hold 6pm to 10pm local open every working day, which is 9am to 1pm in New York and a full working afternoon in London. West Coast teams get a later window. You’ll have a shared Slack channel and a named engineer, so you’re not filing tickets and waiting for a reply the following morning.

Often, yes. We start with a paid two-day audit: we read the repo, run it locally, and return a written list of what’s safe to build on, what needs replacing, and what each option costs. Sometimes the audit says rebuild. If a rebuild is cheaper than the rescue, we’ll tell you that and price both, even though the rescue is the smaller invoice for us.

Then we skip design and build to their file. Working from Figma we didn’t draw is normal here. We build to your existing tokens and components, and we flag anything that breaks at 360px or fails colour contrast before we build it rather than after. If you have no designer, we produce the design, which adds a week to a site and two to a product build.

You get 30 days of bug fixes at no cost, starting the day you go live. Before that we hand over the repo, the deployment pipeline, monitoring, and a recorded walkthrough for whoever inherits the system. After 30 days you can take it in-house or keep us on a retainer, from $2,500 a month for automation support against a fixed monthly hours cap, $4,000 a month for AI operations, and $6,000 a month for ongoing product work.

We quote fixed scope, so a change is a conversation rather than an invoice surprise. Small adjustments inside the same week get absorbed. Anything that adds more than a day gets a written estimate before we touch it, and you either approve it or defer it. The repo carries a change log recording what was added, what it cost, and what was cut to make room.

Still unanswered? Ask us directly and you’ll have a reply within 24 hours on a business day.

Let’s build something sharp.
